No TRICKS, only TREATS, here on the blog today! Let me tell you, this is one of my FAVORITE treats too! Okay, maybe one of my favorites! 😉
Before I share, though, a friendly reminder…
Just because today is Halloween does not mean it should be “treated” any different than yesterday, the day before, or even tomorrow for that matter. I guarantee the candy you have purchased for Trick or Treating will STILL be available for you to purchase tomorrow, the next day, and the days that follow.
Seriously, what is the urgency to consume it ALL today? Enjoy a couple pieces of your favorite(s), and then move the heck on with your day! You have my word that satisfaction and moderation will ALWAYS trump deprivation, overindulging, and the “When will I allow myself to have IT again?” mindset.
I must admit, my favorite treat is SCARY GOOD. I mean, so scary that it ONLY requires 30 minutes of your time, and you will be REAPING the benefits for hours after!
Are you ready to get your HALLOWEEN HUSTLE on? That’s right (could you guess it was, probably something health and wellness related – ha!), a 30 minute, ALL BODY WEIGHT workout that is effective, efficient, and, as I mentioned, will have your metabolism revved up for hours post-workout. Since it is “only” body weight – no shame in THIS game – it can be done ANYWHERE, ANYTIME, and without ANY excuses!!
Make sure to do a proper warm-up and cool-down before and after your workout for ~5-10 minutes (each). For the actual workout, set your clock for 20 minutes and see how many rounds you can complete within this time frame! Click on the picture to save and download if you choose!
You have 9 exercises to go through, starting with “5 Tricep Push-Ups” and finishing with “25 Fast Body Squats.” Go at your own pace, and work at an intensity that is appropriate for your fitness level, and will force you to rest and recover at various points throughout the workout (i.e. go to failure)!
